I think the concept of giving the students something to do rather than something to learn because naturally it will demand a train of thought. Getting creative in the classroom is something I am trying and will continue to try and do.
The Pick a Path workshop was great! I will be using this in my SST class as a resource to help my students learn about migration, making decisions, and consequences.
Kia ora DJ, I love the pick a path you created! What a great opportunity to lead from discussion with this. Do you think this is something your students would be interested in creating themselves? Vicki
You have created a very engaging 'Pick a Path' story. I wonder if you could make some of your main text larger next time so it easier for readers when they first start to read your work. It if fantastic how you have found a class you want to trial this with. Its great when we can find things we can take straigth back to our classrooms and put them to use. I wonder how it went? I would love to see another post showing some of the work your students created because of your DFI learning.
Great work I loved you pick a story.

Hi Vicki,
DeleteSome of my students have already started their own pick a paths. When they're finished and perfect, they will post to their own Blogs.
Great work Djereyl.
